Private Pluto Pluto Original Production Cels

This is a terrific pair of vintage production cels featuring Mickey's pal Pluto. The first piece is a production cel from the 1943 Clyde Geronimi-directed short Private Pluto. The cel is trimmed to image and can be seen in the cartoon around the 1:20 time mark. This hand-inked and hand-painted cel is in a matboard of 11.5" x 11" with an aperture of 6.5" x 6". Pluto is a guard dog on a military base. He's told there are saboteurs who turn out to be Chip 'n' Dale. The second image is from a Disney short from this same era as Pluto is wearing his orange collar. This image is trimmed to about 8" x 6". This hand-inked, hand-painted image will require restoration. The cel is in a matboard of 10" x 8" with an aperture of 7.5" x 5.75". Pluto measures about 4" x 5". This piece is in Poor to Fair condition. The first production cel is in Very Good condition.
