The Lion King Simba and Mufasa Employee-Only Limited Edition Cel #14/105

"We're pals, right? -- Right." This adorable image from The Lion King features young Simba playfully climbing on his father, Mufasa, while tugging on his ear. This heartwarming moment is captured in a hand-inked and hand-painted cel, created exclusively for the cast and crew who worked on the film. Only 105 of these pieces were made, and this particular cel is numbered 14. Using traditional animation methods, the cel was crafted at Disney's world-famous Ink and Paint Department on the Burbank studio lot, making it a rare collectible, as The Lion King was largely animated without cels. The artwork is presented on a background copy/print and framed to 23" x 19", with the official gold foil Walt Disney Feature Animation seal included. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney accompanies the piece, further enhancing its value. This exclusive, limited-edition cel is in Fine condition, making it a treasured keepsake for any Lion King fan or animation art collector. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
