Mulan Mushu and Mulan Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #186/225

"Thanks, Mushu." Created from the original production drawings from the final moments of Disney's Mulan, this is a fantastic employee-exclusive limited edition cel featuring Mulan and Mushu. Mulan was digitally produced, meaning no original production cels from the film exist. The Disney Studio's Ink and Paint department instead created these rare limited edition cels based on the numbers ordered by employees. This hand-inked and hand-painted treasure is numbered 186 of only 225 made, never sold the public. Excitingly this particular cel is from the archive of Disney Renaissance director Mike Gabriel (The Rescuers Down Under, Pocahontas). The image can be seen at the 1:21:13 mark of the film. The 16 field cel is displayed on a quality printed background for presentation purposes, and it is mounted to a 22.75" x 17" archival foamcore board. The piece bears an official Walt Disney Feature Animation seal, and the lot includes a Certificate of Authenticity. A protective sheet of acetate overlays the cel, and the condition of this rare gem is Fine.

From the Disney Feature Animation Director Mike Gabriel Collection.
